isotopes: elements having same atomic no. but different mass no.(atoms of same elements)
eg. protium, deuterium where the no of protons are same but mass is 1 and 2 resp.
isobars: elements having different atomic no. but same mass no.(atoms of different element)
eg. Can and At whose atomic no is 20 and 18 resp. but mass no is 40
