How do kangaroo respond to her proposal?

Kangaroo politely declined the proposal, leaving Mr. Kangaroo in utter despair. He didn't know what to do with his life anymore, so he chased another Kangaroo to put his efforts into, for he wouldn't give up on his love life so easily. Mr. Kangaroo visited the nearby tavern in hopes of meeting a new fetching damsel to satisfy his needs for a nice warm hug, and maybe even a family. He saw a woman, standing in the corner, minding her own business.

"Come here often?" He asked with a smug grin. The woman turned around, to reveal that 'she' was actually a 'he'.

"Do I look like a come here often?" He asked. Mr. Kangaroo was not so easily swayed by the sudden surprise of gender, for he enjoyed both parties.
