Just like in graphs, in x-axis and y-axis, we can locate points by providing the x value and y value, so that the intersecting lines of both x and y intersected at the point we're locating.

In the Same way, Longitudes are vertical non parallel lines with degrees from 0° to 180°, all meeting at North and South poles and of same length. They are used to divide Times zones in the Whole World.

Latitudes are horizontal parallel lines with degrees from 0° to 90°S & N, all of different sizes. Latitudes are very important, they divide the heat zones and used for calculating many geographical

aspects of the Earth.

Their two exact values of degrees, minutes and seconds (23°45'67" ) intersect at a particular point, which we are trying to locate places on map.
