How do leaves which are not green carry out photosynthesis

All plants that use photosynthesis tomake sugars contain chlorophyll. Therefore if a plant does not contain chlorophyll, it will not be able to usephotosynthesis. Even though chlorophyll will always be seen asgreen, there are other pigments thatleaves can have that are reddish that cover up the green color.

green plants absorb solar energy for photosynthesis because of the presence of chloroplast in stomata.even the plants which have other colours of leaves have chloroplast so they carry out photosynthesis.
