Answer: all living organisms need energy to grow, develop, and work. When the living organisms intake food, the food gets oxidised with oxygen ( which enters our body through the process of breathing ) through a process called cellular respiration. After the food is oxidised, energy is released along with CO2 and waste, which then expelled from the body.
