●He crossed tall and short plants of pure breed and found that all plants were tall.

●This shows that traits may be dominant other recessive.

●He proved that traits may be independently inherited by performing dihybrid cross.

● He crossed a plant with yellow round seeds and a plant with wrinkled green seeds.

●He found the ratio to be 9:3:3:1. With more of yellow round seeds and less of wrinkled green seeds.

● He also found wrinkled yellow seeds and round green seeds.
