when Mendel choose pure variety of dwarf and tall plants and cross pollination then only Tall plants appeared in F1 generation and due to their dominant character which appear in F1 generation they are considered as dominant trait.

and when products of F1 generation Cross pollinated with each other than it produces 25% dwarf plants and 75% tall plants. on the basis of this conclude that dwarfness does not Express it in F1 but shows in F2 in a small amount then it is considered as recessive trait.
