how do metal and non metal react with acid? write an explanation the chemical equation for reaction of magnesium with sulphuric acid and Aluminium with hydrochloric acid...(WHO's answer will help me I will mark him / her brinlist...).​

Explanation:

MgSo4 + H2O

as Mg will react with sulphur and form Magnesium sulphate and release water

Hey mate!

Here is an attempt to answer ur question...

* Metals react with acids and form respective metal salt with the liberation of hydrogen.

eg: Ca + 2HCl = CaCl2 + H2

*Non metals generally do not react with acids. That's because they are acceptors of electrons (electro negative) and hence cannot produce ions. so, they don't react.

* Mg + H2SO4 = MgSO4 + H2

* 2Al + 6HCl = 2AlCl3 + 3H2.
