If a metal is more reactive than the metal salt....
then while reacting,the more reactive metal displaces the less reactive one.
Eg. CuCl2 +Zn----> ZnCl2 + Cu.

Displacement reactions betweenmetals and their salts. Some metals are more reactive than others. In this experiment, a strip of metal is added toa solution of a compound of another metal. A more reactive metal displaces (pushes out) a less reactive metalfrom its compound.
