(1) IGNEOUS AND METAMORPHIC ROCKS : Minerals occurs in cracks. When they are inside the earth they are in liquid form but due to heat it comes on the surface and become solid. LIKE : COPPER.

(3) RESIDUE MASS : In this , Minerals occurs during to decomposition of surface rock. LIKE : BAUXITE .

(4) PLACER DEPOSITS : Minerals occurs in valley and don't corrod with water. LIKE : GOLD , SILVER.

(5) DECCAN BEDS : Some Minerals like SALT , MAGNESIUM are obtained from it.
