Muscle cramps occur when the muscles respire anerobically as a product less energy, lactic acid and CO2 is formed due to the accumulation of lactic acid muscles cramps take place and this usually happens when a person does vigorous exercise and the person can get rid of it by taking a hot water bath or doing massage in that area the hot water will melt the lactic acid and blood would easily flow

=> so the demand of oxygen is less for him

=>now he stars breathing anoerabically

=>during this  The muscles begin to do anaerobic respiration, because oxygen is not present.

=>now lactic acid gets accumalted in the muscles.this process is  lactic acid fermenation

=> it is a process that takes place when oxygen  is not present .

=>this causes muscle cramps when sportsman run
