The muscles perform their actions by contracting themselves and this results in carrying out of the main functions of the body.

Explanation:

  • The aim of the muscles is the production of motion and force and sustaining posture of the body, movement and location, movement of food, the functioning of the heart and other important aspects.
  • All these actions are conducted by the contraction and release of the muscles and the pressure they can withstand and generate when required.
