Muslims believe in their holy book Quran and believe that Quran is authentic and truly reflecting God (Allah) words without single letter alteration or falsification. Consequently:

They don't hold the book for reciting or memorizing, they should be on valid ablution.

They keep the holy book texts in an honored and distinguished location at home.

They follow the holy book guides and commands.

They find in reading the Quran or listening to it an effective way for release of their stresses, worries, or grievances.

They try to memorize as much as possible of the Quran chapters and verses and study Quran interpretations.

Injil or Gospel: The Injil was the holy book revealed to Jesus (Isa), according to the Quran. Although many lay Muslims believe the Injil refers to the entire New Testament, scholars have pointed out that it refers not to the New Testament but to an original Gospel, given to Jesus as the word of God
