REQUIRED ANSWER-:

The nervous tissue ,contains densely packed cells called nerve cells or neurons,is present in the spinal cord and nerves .The neurons are specialised for conduction of nerve impulses . They receive stimuli from within or outside the body and conducts impulses which travel from one neuron to another neuron.

Each neuron has following 2 parts

  1. Cyton or cell body
  2. Cell processes

      (i) Dendron

     (ii) Axon
