organisms find there prey (it can be plant or animal ) and after eating the complex food material is converted into simpler for easy digestion. catabolic and anabolic activities done in the digestion provide energy to the organism I.e. the nutrition
If IT IS AUTOTROPH then it synthesises it's food by photosynthesis
