When you look at an object, the light from it enters your eye through the pupil. The iris changes the size of the pupil, depending on how bright the light is. The lens focuses the light onto the back of the eye: the retina.

at first the light goes inside our eyes through the pupil.then size of the pupil is changed by the iris.this depends on the brightness of the light.the light is focused by the lens onto the retina (the back of the eye).the light signals are then changed into electrical signals by the retina.

the brain and the eye should work together so that a person can see everything properly and correctly.

optic nerve of the spinal cord connects the eye to the brain.
