Long years ago plants and animals were died due to eruption of lava.after their death they buried under the earth... by some natural calamities like flood,tsunami .earthquakes the buried humas went down and settled bottom and formed as hard substance called coal.
and the humas that settled under the sea is called as petroleum.
the gas evolved from the dead and buried substance is called as natural gas..
