how do plant cells posses' large sized vacuoles?

> Plant Cells possess large sized vacuoles as sometimes they have to pass through difficult and harsh conditions. And they sometimes have to maintain their turgidity and that's the reason they are relatively large as compared to animal cells.

> Vacuoles perform the function of storing water and food for the plant cell and they are capable of storing nutrients as well as wastes too. A large area helps them perform all these functions.
