Remember that only a very small amount of these chemicals is needed in order to cause a response. We looked at the five major types of hormones in plants: auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins, ethylene and abscisic acid. Auxins are hormones that stimulate growth and are produced in immature parts of plants.

Answer:

Hormones like Auxins, cytokinin promotes female flowers. Whereas Gibberellins promote male flowers. Ethylene promote flowering in some plants like pineapple Phytohormones and duration of light also induce flowering in long day plants and short day plants.
