Plants have tiny openings called stomata which help in the exchange of gases.
Plants take in Carbon Dioxide only for the process of photosynthesis.
Not for breathing! During the day time it absorbs the carbon dioxide present in the air and during the night it takes in oxygen and releases a small amount of carbon dioxide.
