carbon dioxide+water+energy--------(in the presence of sunlight)--->oxygen +glucose.

Plants obtain their food from the process called PhOtOsYnThEsIs............................ In this process plants use their green pigment Chlorophyll ( which makes the leaves green in colour ) to capture sunlight for CO2, H2O, nutrients and energy and thus plants make their own food....
