plants manufacture their own food by photosynthesis using sunlight ,water and carbon-dioxide .plants are often referred to as photo autotrophic.the glucose molecule thus formed is stored in the form of starch which is later used by the plant.

plant make their own food in the process of photosynthesis .In this process plant use water from soil ,and use sunlight and take carbondioxide and give oxygen.
