ANSWER :-

Rainwater is slightly acidic becoz whenever it rains carbon dioxide from the air mixes with the rain water and for mild carbonic acid some of carbonic acid in the rain water breaks down producing more hydrogen ion and bicarbonate ion , which are dissolved in rainwater .
