Resources are reason of development. Without resources, no development is possible.

To develop or undergo development is to upgrade or uplift or advance the qualitative and quantitative efficiency of a particular community or country.

Development is directly related to the betterment of lifestyles of the people.

Advancement in people's lives can only come through new strategies, more and more modernised technology, sufficient agro materials and excellent industrial production.

All these agricultural and other industrial factories expand Because they harness things from nature which have potential to serve as a resource and process them and turn them into directly usable resources.

Humans are a resource too.

Forested provide medicines, wood, oxygen, raisins, rubber, gum, honey, fruits and herbs and what not.

Coal, petroleum, stones, diamonds, gold, iron, copper etc. minerals are mined from underground.

The sun and wind are enormous sources of energies which are harnessed with modern technology.

The oceans and seas are rich in various salts and marine vegetation and the tidal energy.

By harnessing of these resources only we can inhibit development.

Hope this helps
