how do respiration takes place in crocodiles and dolphins ?

Crocodile:-
(i) In crocodiles, they have trachea which connects the mouth and lungs where air is inspired and expired. 
(ii)They have a palate to separate breathing and eating tubes ,so they can breathe which eating.
(iii)Similarly, they is another palate present in the crocodiles which prevents water entering their gullet so that they can swim in water with their mouths open.

Dolphins:-
(i) Dolphins have a hole called blow hole in which they can breathe.
(ii)It is covered with a flap which provides a watertight seal.For them to be able to breathe, they have to rise the surface and breathe the Oxygen.
(iii)When a dolphin breathes in air, it goes directly into the lungs exhaling and inhaling in which they take about 2-3 breathes.
