Because Rhizobium is present in the root nodules of leguminous plants which help it to survive by sending nitrogen from roots to plants and , leguminous plants give their roots to Rhizobium so it can survive . In this way both are interdependent on each other

Answer:

yes they are interdependent on each other.the plant provide place to live for rhizobium bacteria.these bacteria are present in the root nodules of the plants.

and the bacteria help to maintain the nitrogen balance in the soil.they fix the nitrogen in the soil which is the most essential element for the plants growth.
