Most of the rivers are originate by the melting of glaciers. and the rivers like Ganga, Brahmaputra, Indus were perennial and flow from himalayas
Main tributaries of: 
Ganga: Gomti, Ghaghara , Gandaki, Yamuna , Son, Punpun and Damodar
Brahmaputra: Sankosh, Raidak, Amochu, Bhareli, Dibang, Lohit
Indus: Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas, Sutlez

(i) Ganga are -
Gandaki,Yamuna,Gomti, Ghaghra ,Punpun, Sone and Damodar
(ii)Brahmaputra are -Amochu,Bahareli,Dibang,Lohit
,Sankosh and Raidak
(iii)Indus are -
Chenab,Ravi,Satluj,Jhelum,Beas
