The rocks around a place is usually defined by the condition it is exposed to, if it’s hot and humid over the years the rock would be different from when temperature is cold and damp.

EXPLANATION:

There are different types of rocks found in different areas of the land, as we move forward the types of rocks changes. The rock that are usually found around the seas or beaches wouldn’t be the same that’s found around mountains, similarly the rocks in plains would be different in forests.
