A satellite does not require oxygen, or any gases for that matter. The satellites are machines, which work on electric energy, chemical energy or any such form of convertible energy. Most of the satellites use solar energy as it is available in abundance. They have solar panels which help in absorbing energy from the sun. However, if there are satellites that require oxygen or any other gas, the respective gas is already stored in them in accordance with the requirements.
