Take the mixture of dry sand and sugar

and keep it in front of the ant house

The ants will take the sugar and they are separated from each other

But in real life if you want suger then you can't fight with the ant to get the sugar,so

Put water in the mixture and do the process of sedimentation and decantation.

the sand is separated for sugar but sugar is still mixed in with the water so u need to boil the water and then

the sugar is separated and you get both sugar and sand separated from each other. Now be careful or they will be mixed up again
