How do social division affect politics ? explain.

  It has both positive and negative effects on state and national level politics. Good thing is that, the economically weaker sections in the society are large in number so in democracy, political parties has to consider program for upliftment of these weaker sections of society. Even parties includes such agenda in the manifacsto to attaract peoples of different societies by addressing thier problems e.g. upliftment of tribal communities, facilities to farmers, schemes for wokers etc. But the side effect is that few parties try to polaries them by using caste and religon card. Which is dangerous for the healthy democracy.
