Solid , liquid and gases are differ in size due to their arrangement of molecules.

Solid have a definite shape because their molecules are tightly packed and intermolecular forces are very strong . on the other hand , Liquid can flow because of their moderate intermolecular forces and space .

Gases have very large intermolecular spaces and very weak intermolecular forces.
