How do some renewable resources become non-renewable? Explain with examples.

Some resources have become non renewable due to overusing of resources for example coal,petroleum are available to us but if we overuse them.

It is possible for a renewable resource to become a non-renewable resource if its use increases to such a point that exceeds the ability of natural processes to produce more of it. For example, while water is typically a renewable resource, in some areas, it becomes a non-renewable natural resource when demand and use for it increases beyond that of the locale's natural processed to produce more of it in the form of rainfall or melting snow
