How do status and role form a linkage between psychology and sociology? Explain

Group dynamics was formed based on “status and role in the process of interaction.”  It was first researched by Linton.  According to him, apart from “basic personality” (which is mostly unconscious), the other aspects of personality are developed based on “certain known status position and their associated roles.”

Psychology is the scientific study of  human behavior in any field of life at different situations. while on the hand sociology is a branch of social science that deals with the study of human behavior while in group and the company of other fellows especially those from the same age group.
