Co2 moves in and out of the cell by the process of diffusion. Diffusion is the process by which gases move from higher concentration to the lower concentration

When the concentration of Co2 becomes high inside the cell and low outside the cell.. Co2 moves out of the cell to the lower concentration which is outside the cell by the process of diffusion.

Water moves out of the cell by the process of Osmosis. Osmosis is the process by which water moves from higher concentration to lower concentration through a semi permeable membrane.

There are three type of situations that takes place during osmosis.. They are-

1. Hypotonic Solution

2. Isotonic solution

3. Hypertonic Solution

Hope it helps you
