The fourth and final stage of a frog's life is an adult frog. Remember, the frog's life cycle has four stages. First the egg, second the tadpole, third the froglet and the fourth stage is the adult frog. Frogs and Butterflies each have four stages of their life cycles.

Metamorphosis: Butterflies and Frogs. ... However, they don't look like butterflies when they hatch! The life cycle of a moth or butterfly is a process called complete metamorphosis. That means that they have four distinct stages: egg, larva (caterpillar), pupa (chrysalis), and adult.
