Hey mate here is your answer:-)

We all know that sperm and egg cells are haploid ( having only one set of chromosomes, having only 23 chromosomes). When these two cells fuse with each other and form zygote, the DNA from the two cells mix and match up with each other but all of the DNA are not the same. That is why we are not the exact copies of our parents. We inherit some of the feature from our parents. We are not clones of our parents. A zygote is a diploid ( having two sets of chromosomes, having 46 chromosomes).

Hope this helps you..........

Pl mark as brainliest if it does...........

mother and the father have 46 chromosomes each .

23 from each chromosomes combine in a baby.

then their qualities are also transmitted .

as they also have similar DNA they have similar characteristics of father and mother.

it's best answer and correct also.
I'm sure please mark it as brainlist.
