Hey!!!
The Earth revolve from west to east i.e in the anticlockwise direction. The earth completes its revolution around the sun in one year .
Earth rotates around its axis.
The direction of earth rotation is COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
The period of rotation for Earth is 24 hours, meaning we rotate at a rate of about 15 degrees per hour.
The rate of earth rotation is the basis for time zones. Since Earth rotates 15 degrees longitude every hour we divide the earth up into different time zones with each one 15 degrees apart. This makes it so that every time zone has one hour difference.
As u travel East each time zone decreases by one hour.
As u travel West each time zone increases by one hour.
Earth rotates, Eastward, in prograd motion.
As viewed from the north pole star Polaris, Earth turns counter clockwise. The North Pole also known as the Geographic North Pole or Terrestrial North Pole, is the point in Northern Hemisphere where Earth's axis of rotation meets its surface.
hope it helps!!!!!
