Earthworms have a nervous system that reacts to heat, cold and touch. They can also feel vibrations and have chemoreceptors that detect odors. They don’t have eyes, ears or a nose, but they do have cells that detect light and changes in light intensity. They’ll move away from light (ultraviolet light rays can kill them).
