Eastern Coastal Plain lies between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. Western Coastal Plain lies between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. Eastern Coastal Plains are wide and have large surface structure. Western Coastal Plains are narrower than the Eastern Coastal Plains.
