Answer:-

1. Plants adapt themselves in the harsh climate of the desert(s), as it is a dry area with scarcity of waters, and so they have small leaves and many spines which help them to conserve water. The leaves have thick waxy skins which help to retain water for a long time. There are leafless plants that store water in their green stems.

Ex:- Cactus

2. Animals:- Few animals have adapted to survive the hottest desert regions besides scorpions and small reptiles. In areas with a greater supply of water, the level of biodiversity increases as vegetation such as shrubs, cacti and hardy trees form the foundation of a more extensive food web. As deserts are found in most continents, different consumer species have evolved to survive the harsh desert environment.

Ex:- Camels

3. Birds:- The best way to escape bad weather is to fly away somewhere nicer. This is called migration, and many millions of birds do it every year. Migration means that they find the best place to breed during summer and the best place to feed during winter.

Explanation:

Plants present in desert lose very little water through transpiration. They are adapted to this by having small leaves or spine shaped leaves and sometimes even the leaves are absent. They also have thick wax coated stem, and roots are long to go very deep in to the soil....
