Speed of light C is related to frequency ν and wavelength λ that is given by, c = ν λ ..................(1)

when we have light of given wavelength in air, its frequency is fixed as given by eqn.(1).

When this light enters glass, frquency will not change but its speed will decrease since glass is optically denser medium compare to air.

when speed of light decreases, correspondingly its wavelength decreases because frequency is constant.

Answer: (i) Speed of light in glass increases on increasing the wavelength  (ii) There is no effect of changing intensity on speed of light in glass

Explanation:

Light is a medium with electromagnetic waves, hence,

the velocity is given as v= fλ where f  is the frequency and λ is the wavelength.

Thus, velocity and wavelength are ultimately directly proportional. The speed of light also increases with an increase in wavelength. But the frequency doesn't change upon passing through a medium.

When the light reflects glass, frquency will not change but its speed decreases as glass has an optically denser medium compare to air.
