how do the insulator not conduct electricity ?

Hello,

Insulators are made of materials which are not good conductor of electricity and thus doesn't allow electricity to pass through it that's why it doesn't conduct electricity.

⭐ Substances, which don't allow electricity to pass through them easily are known as insulators.....


⭐ We know that conductors conduct electricity. This is because they let electrons move freely throughout the solid. But insulators hold on them tightly, limiting their flow. Since there is no flow of electrons, there is no flow of electricity. That's why they don't conduct electricity....


⭐Some examples here → plastic, cotton, cement, etc.
