How do the male gametes present in pollen grain reach to ovule?

Fertilisation occurs in the flower, as it is the reproductive part of the plant. An egg cell (female gamate) is present  in the ovule. ... The pollen  tube grows to reach the ovary and the ovule. When the pollen tube reaches the o it pushes the male gamets into the egg cell.
