Thiobacillus and pseudosomonas are denitrifying bacteria ie they convert nitrates into atmospheric nitrogen. And thus helps in maintaining the balance between atmospheric nitrogen and nitrates in soil.

Explanation:

▶️ Pseudomonas and Thiobacillus are aerobic bacteria found in waterlogged soil. They obtain a part of their oxygen requirement from oxidized salts of nitrogen (e.g NO3 , NO2-) changing them to free gaseous nitrogen.

hope it helps!!
