basically there's just the phrase " what you sow so you reap " ( if my spelling is wrong meh apologies), so it means what you do now affects you next just like the " exam results" , for example if you are in a dangerous situation and you are sacred instead of trying to use 'you're presence of mind' you end up waiting for someone else to use their presence of mind for you ( to help you , when you end up waiting for help) then that's when you're present actions is gonna affect you're future if you're not lucky enough ,no help will be received and then you're gonna be dead for sure ,if you're lucky then it's cool . But cause of you're lack of presence of mind you may loose you're life in this dangerous situation . That's what happened to the people in the group . They just didn't take their next steps with caution and didn't realise about their actions , which resulted in their future reaction ( which is death) .
