The poles of magnet are of two types North Pole and South pole
When North Pole and North Pole or South Pole
and South Pole come close to each other they repel and go far away
(Same poles of magnet repels)
When a North Pole and a South Pole come close to each other they attract each other
(Opposite poles of magnet attract each other)
