Tidal volume:

volume of air inspired or expired during a normal respiration. It is approx.500ml.

A healthy man can inspire or expire approximately 6000 to 8000 ml per minute.

vital capacity:

The maximum volume of air a person can breathe in after a forced expiration. or The maximum volume of air a person can breathe out after a forced inspiration.

This includes ERV,TV and IRV

Answer:

Explanation: The subdivisions of lung volume. Tidal volume (VT) is the volume of gas breathed in and out with each breath. Vital capacity (VC) is the maximum volume that can be exhaled after a maximal inspiration (i.e., VC = VT + inspiratory reserve volume + expiratory reserve volume).
