how do the westerlies benefit the people of Western Europe

The climate of the Western Europe is affected by these warm and moist winds all the year. The westerlies which blow throughout the year also bring ample moisture to northern and western Europe. Since these winds blow from the sea, they carry lots of moisture and regularly cause rainfall.
