Baap re ye ques dekhte hee paagal ho jaata hain..... but let me answer.....

See the traits are inherited in an organism from the parent organism... In the parent cell the nucleus contains the chromatin material.. which have protein parts called genes... each gene has the protein responsible for the development of specific characteristics in the daughter cells... Now in the case of more than two traits are present then the one which is dominant... is expressed in the offspring.... The traits while coping may vary from that of the parents' if there is a variation in the information contained in the genes...( phew.....!!!)
